I have worked as an IT professional in the healthcare, advertising, and energy sectors for the last 18 years. I take pride in my ability to create and support solutions for my clients. Technology can be daunting, even sometimes scary, but with the right person in an IT role it doesn't have to be. I have always focused on improving myself and my company by bringing technology and users together in a simple, friendly way.

In my current role I have the pleasure of working as an Infrastructure Engineer for Performance Enhancment Inc,(PEI). I manage multiple types of enviornments daily. I am responsible for deployment and mangement of Azure/O365, VMware, Hyper-V, Physical ESXi, and SAN storage deployments, as well as backup and recovery using Veeam, Rubrik, and Commvault.

    As an IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer at PEI, I work in ever changing, ever different environments each and every day. I work closely with our clients to design, and implement custom technology solutions to meet their needs and budgets. PEI's clients rely on me to be the subject matter expert on a varitey of technology topics and to deploy and support the solutions that I build.

    I am responsible for the design and deployment of Azure/O365 cloud services, as well as deployment and support of Exchange & O365 Exchange. I deploy and support VMware, Hyper-V, and multiple SAN solutions for our clients, as well as designing and implementing the networking required for all the systems to communicate. I also assist our clients with the deployment and management of a variety of Microsoft and Linux enterprise solutions.

    I am responsible for detailed documentation of each implemented solution and for continued support of clients once a project is completed. Each day I get to learn something new and to provide support for an array of interesting and challenging problems.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Planning & Direction: Meet with clients to review upcoming business needs and produce custom IT solutions to meet needs & budgets.

    • Multiple VMware 5.5 to 7.0 upgrades. I have assisted multiple clients in upgrading and improving their VMware deployments.

    The Senior IT Systems Engineer team member position is responsible for serving as a technical leader and subject matter expert/lead in several areas including local and wide area networking, border gateway protocols, network perimeter protection systems, storage technologies, virtualization technologies, infrastructure capacity management, and IT disaster recovery processes. The incumbent is responsible for tier two infrastructure troubleshooting and support with a key focus on overall performance management. The individual in the position will be responsible for ensuring systems they are responsible for have accurate and current diagrams and documentation.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Strategic Planning & Direction: Meet with senior executives, department leaders, and other project sponsors to review upcoming business needs and produce enterprise-wide IT solutions via hardware, software, operating system, server, and other implementation projects.

    • Office 365/Azure Tenant Deployment and Migration. I was responsible for moving from on-prem 2010 Exchange to cloud hosted Office 365.
